From 0.30 to 0.60 kg of SYNTYECH PAVISTRONG for each square metre of surface to be covered.

Use fields

Coating of floorings of industrial and chemical factories, laboratories, hospitals and treatment areas. Coating of pipes and containment vessels. Suitable for contact with chemically aggressive and corrosive substances, leachates, waste, etc.

Preparation of supports

Thoroughly clean and degrease the surfaces, removing any soiling whatever its nature, paint residues or non-adhering parts. Determine the most convenient type of mechanical preparation (sanding, washing, etc.). The surfaces will also be free of discontinuities, and possibly levelled and regularized with REPAR TIX HG. It is advisable to previously spread the epoxy resin for "humid bases" SYNTECH PAVIDAMP.

In the case of metal surfaces, perform a thorough sandblasting to eliminate any residue of grease, rust, and calamine. Then apply a coat of adhesive primer SYNTECH POLIUREA PRIMER METAL.

Use method

Pour the canister with component B in the canister with component A, thoroughly mix for 2-3 minutes. Use a mechanical stirrer or an appropriate tool to obtain a perfect mix. The mixture of the two components must be spread within 10-30 minutes, in order to prevent hardening in the canister itself. It should be noted that the rate of reaction depends on the ambient temperature (at 30°C, hardening takes 10-15 minutes). Apply on the surface to be treated, within the time stated, for an indicative consumption of 300-600 g/m².

To fill holes and cavities, or for self-levelling coatings with thickness greater than 2 mm, add at the time (after you have prepared the mixture of the 2 components) quartz spheroidal dosed at 50% by weight of the weight of the mixture of SYNTECH PAVISTRONG. To apply self-levelling coatings of floorings, cast the product and distribute it with toothed trowel. Smooth the surface by using the appropriate smoothing roller. For roller application, you can dilute with solvent UNI; not exceeding 5% of the product quantity.

Warnings, precautions and Ecology

In the case of concrete structures of new construction, do not to apply the product before you have waited the required 28 days of curing. The subbase must have a minimum compression resistance of 25 N/mm² and traction of 1.5 N/mm².

In emptying the canisters, do not scrape the product from the edges and bottom since it might not have been accurately mixed.

SYNTECH PAVISTRONG is very sensitive to water in the liquid phase. Do not apply on supports with a moisture content greater than 4% and in any case with a temperature of at least 3°C higher than the dew point. If applied on media that are not perfectly dry, whitish spots may appear on the surface.
