Insulating, sanitising, desiccant paint based on acrylic thermo polymers in aqueous dispersion, hollow glass microspheres, lamellar charges, covering and corrosion inhibiting fillers, for the reduction of thermal bridge areas on the walls of premises subject to condensation, mould and other by-products of biodeteriogenic activity.

PROTECH THERM allows an effective recovery of the thermal mass of the walls, reducing the influence of thermal bridges in vertical opaque surfaces (walls). The combined action of thermal insulation, of the breathability capacity and sanitizing activity, translates into a complex renewal activity that involves the drastic reduction of the problems represented by condensation, mildew etc.
Sanitisation of environments in respect of "cold" surfaces, constituting thermal bridges, from the presence of moulds, etc.
The application media should be dry, compact and adequately prepared: free from fouling, powder, crumbling and non-adhering parts etc..
Any biodeteriogenic presence (moulds, algae, fungi etc. ) must be treated beforehand with CONSILEX ANTIMUFFA CLEANER. Subsequently, the areas treated, must further be reclaimed with CONSILEX ANTIMUFFA REMOVER.
Apply the specific fixative PROTECH FIX AC beforehand for about 0.12 kg/m².
Apply PROTECH THERM in two coats, with a brush or roller, diluted with water from 20% to 30 %, up to an effective thickness not less than 300 microns (300 g/m² approximately).

It is known that the drastic solution of the problems associated with thermal bridges ("cold" walls) and of the phenomena of condensation that derive from it, as well as inadequate thermal performance of buildings, is given by the thermo-insulating coating systems. PROTECH THERM, while significantly reducing the problem, is considered to be a palliative and/or temporary solution to the problem; it may not be considered a substitute for the thermal coat of the wall covering.
