PROTECH ELC

Acrylic, protective, elastomeric paint, in aqueous emulsion

Code: PRT.0097

Components: 1

Appearance: Liquid

Elastomeric pigmented paint for protective finish of concrete surfaces with modest micro-crack impact; anti-carbonation, anti-crackling, applied by brush, roller or spray. It is based on acrylic resins in aqueous emulsion, fillerised loads, high coverage photostable colouring pigments. It is an anti-crackling coating, which keeps high flexibility and deformability properties for a long time.

Consumption

Apply from 0.40 to 0.60 kg of PROTECH ELC per square metre of surface to be painted.

Use fields

Anti-crackling coating, for internal and external masonry surfaces even in the presence of cracks originating from acyclic movements and/or settlements due to differential thermal expansion. Suitable for painting buildings and infrastructural civil works including bridges and viaducts.

Preparation of supports

The application surfaces should be clean, free of incrustations, crumbling and non-adhering parts, dust etc. Absorbent and/or pulverised supports should be reclaimed by applying PROTECH FIX AC, for an indicative consumption of 0.12 kg/m².

Any static cracks, should be preliminarily enlarged, impregnated with a brush soaked in PROTECH FIX AC, and finally plastered with plastic putty FIBROSTUCK.

Use method

PROTECH ELC should be applied in two coats, in a continuous manner, using a brush with long bristles, roller or airless at low pressure. Overcoat only after the previous coat has dried. It can be diluted with water at a ratio of 15-20% maximum.

Application methods

- Low pressure airless nebulizer

- Brush

- Paint roller
