FLUID TIX performs a physical-chemical type action and can be regarded as a complex interaction of positive contributions and modifications. Specifically, the superpozzolanic reaction (transformation of the unstable, soluble and dangerously reactive calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)₂ into the mechanically and chemically stable and insoluble calcium silicate hydrate) yields significant advantages in terms of performance and hardness. The physical action of ultrafine fillers (MICROSIL 90) causes increases in matrix density, compactness and strength in a composite system already positively modified by the presence of the fibrous reinforcement.

Conglomerates with added FLUID TIX are therefore reinforced fibre composite s, particularly suitable for structural coatings, works and durable repairs, in the context of aggressive atmospheres: marine, mountain, urban and industrial.

From 40 to 60 kg of FLUID TIX for every cubic metre of mixture to be made.

Use fields

Production of reinforced fibre controlled shrinkage concrete: plaster, grouts, gunite; thixotropic, self-sustaining, high watertightness and high performance in terms of chemical resistance (sulphates, chlorides, leaching water etc.), mechanical and overall hardness.

Use method

FLUID TIX must be added in the concrete mixer or in the mixer, successively with the remaining solid components of the mixture: cement and aggregates. After first mixing, add the mixing water, then continue to mix until a homogeneous lump-free mixture is obtained. Lay the thixotropic concrete thus obtained with a brick trowel and a plastering trowel, or with a plastering machine (like Turbosol). Cure the protection and the moist hardening of exposed surfaces.
